I wanted to drop you a short note to thank you for everything you did to help me initiate and complete the acquisition of Badge Print Company. These words seem inadequate to the task.
You and all of your associates were gracious from the very beginning. Your willingness to help and guide me through this process was above and beyond the call of duty. You truly did more than you needed to do and you certainly did more than anyone else was willing to do. You were most generous with your time and expertise. But it is your process, the "secret sauce" and your Roadmap to Success that sets you ahead of anyone else who may offer what seems to be a comparable service. My advice to anyone who wants to find a business is to engage the Piper Group for a buy side search. I only wish I had done it sooner.

As you may well remember when I purchased Hearing Aid Consultants, a 20-store chain, I had been looking to buy a company for almost three years. During this time I looked at a lot of potential acquisition targets. I dealt with many M & A firms and yours was at the top of the list.
You presented this business in as good a light as it could realistically be presented without it being false and misleading —while remaining honest and realistic. I believe you represented your customer's interest in an extraordinarily professional manor resulting in a very good selling price for them and a fair purchase price for us.
The offering book was well done. The material was presented professionally providing an easy to follow, logical, comprehensive collection of data to quickly and accurately assess the value and merits of the business. This enabled me to make a quick decision about going forward with an offer. You would be surprised to see what many firms attempt to pass off as offering information. It would be inaccurate, incomplete and in many cases fraudulent.
Any information I requested from you came through professionally, well-presented and supported with real data—tax returns, financials, etc. The "Roadmap to Closing" process, in which you shepherded the deal week-by-week, kept everything on track. When issues came up during the due diligence you were both there to work out a solution. This process gave us a forum to work things out along with a weekly update. This kept the deal moving forward to a successful closing.
Thanks for a job well done. I would greatly recommend you to any Seller or Buyer.
